" I have been a resident at Johnson's Personal Care Home since January 14, 2008. At the present time I am the oldest at 91 years of age." It is very reassuring to become a part of a family away from home. One is never alone and that is comforting. Medical care, which requires immediate attention in some cases for our age group, is always available and we are treated with kind hands and warm hearts.

Holidays are happy days and we are remembered lovingly, generously and warmly with parties, gifts and special treats. We are also free to be with relatives or friends if invited. The decorations are always beautiful. Every holiday is respected and we have happy days together making days warmer for all. It requires love and a caring heart for employees responsible for us during senior living years. Patience, the greatest of virtues is evident and appreciated.

We are never forced to participate in any activity and are free to choose our way of contentment. Outings are always pleasant and we are grateful. Judy treats us to restaurant lunches which are always so nice. The wooded area around our home is such a delight. Sunrise and sunsets are so fascinating. A pleasing wrap around porch with comfortable padded rocking chairs are enjoyed very much. Area in the rear with a glider and benches is very peaceful. Flowers to delight everyone. It is quite a laid back community. We are fortunate to be in good hands in our home which provides peace of mind as we journey along together for our remaining years.

We will welcome your visit and try to make you feel comfortable."

"From the time we stepped onto the front porch furnished with rocking chairs and experienced the homey atmosphere, we had reason to believe this to be a comfortable place to call home for our loved one. After meeting with owner Judy Blackburn and several of the care givers we were convinced this was the place we could trust to supply the assistance with genuine caring for our family member. The open door policy assured our confidence. We're grateful to Johnson's Personal Care Home."

" My husband's youngest brother is in need of twenty four hour personal care and has been a guest at Johnson's Personal Care Home in Wapwallopen for quite a few years now. He came there from another home which closed. At the first home, he was always in his bedroom, sleeping and smoking heavily. He was withdrawn and not engaged in much of the activities offered there. Since coming to the facility operated by Judy Blackburn, we have noticed he appears much happier, healthier, engaged in the day with other guests, has quit smoking and appears well cared for. We visit him without notice and are always welcome. Judy is great at keeping us up to date and has worked with us through many family issues, watches over his finances and is readily accoutable for it all. There is always something cooking in the kitchen that smells like home. Actually, for a personal care home, it has a really lovely, quaint, warm and inviting atmosphere. I cannot thank Judy enough for the dedication she has to all of her clients and the comfort we have knowing he is in such a facility. We see that all of her clients receive personal attention for their needs and she cares for them like they are family."

You were always happy & friendly to him and us and we knew he was in good hands when we had to leave. We appreciate all you have done for David and would recommend your facility to anyone.
